Joint security forces during an anti-militancy operation on Wednesday busted a major hideout of Hizbul Mujahideen militants and recovered a large cache of munition in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district.
A senior Indian Army officer said that they have recovered arms and ammunition including two AK-56 Rifles, three 9mm Pistols, one Country made Pistol, two rounds of UBGL, one round of RPG and day to day usage materials from the militant hideout.
The officer further added that the operation was conducted in Kishtwar region on specific intelligence inputs. The operation was carried out by Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police.

The officer added that operations are being carried out in the area to nab the militants.
