Acting swiftly against Pakistan, Indian security forces on Monday gunned down several Pakistani soldiers along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the initial reports, at least five Pakistani soldiers were killed and several posts along the border were destroyed by the Indian Army.
The Indian action came as a retaliatory measure against Pakistan's continuous violation of ceasefire along the border in Jammu and Kashmir. For the last 24 hours, Pakistan was violating ceasefire and firing mortar shells in Rajouri and Poonch sector.
So far, Indian Army has not released any official statement but sources said that the action was taken after Pakistan’s continuous violation of ceasefire along the LoC.
