Jayalalithaa has completely recovered, now she has to decide when to go home: Doctors

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa has completely recovered and is now she asks and demands what she wants, Chennai's Apollo hospital said on Friday. 

Jayalalithaa is aware of what is happening around her and it is now up to her to decide when to go home, Apollo Hospitals CMD Pratap Reddy was quoted as saying by PTI.

Jayalalithaa was admitted to hospital on September 22 and she has been treated for lung infection, doctors said.

AIADMK’s CR Saraswathi expressed happiness over Jaya’s recovery.

“We are so happy, everyone has prayed for Amma because they love her so much,” CR Saraswathi said.

"The lung infection is under control. She has passed the critical stage. The respiratory system is being weaned away. It is being used on and off," C Ponnaiyan, who is also a party spokesperson, said.
