Deceased actor-model Jiah Khan’s mother Rabia on Thursday moved the special CBI court to seek summons to service provider Blackberry to fetch messenger communication between her daughter and actor Suraj Pancholi.
Pancholi is accused of abetting the suicide of Jiah.
“The court be pleased to issue necessary summons calling upon the Blackberry India to produce the information with respect to the BBM communication which had taken place on the date of incident and prior between Jiah and Pancholi,” Rabia said in her plea.
The court is likely to hear the petition on Monday.
Sooraj has been charged by the CBI for allegedly abetting the suicide of Jiah with whom he had met through Facebook in September 2012 and the friendship blossomed into “intimate relationship” over a period of time.
