Miscreants torched a government primary school in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district, whereas another educational institute was ransacked in city outskirts.
Official sources claimed that miscreants set ablaze the Government Primary school (GPS) Rigipora of Kupwara.
Although fire tenders rushed to counter the flames, they were unable to save one block of the school building from damage.
Further, troublemakers also ransacked Government Boys High school Rawalpora; located in the outskirts of the city.

The police have registered cases regarding both the incidents and investigations are being carried on.
The unrest in Kashmir has taken its toll on more than 30 educational institutes have been set on fire by trouble makers.
