Jyotiraditya Scindia, a senior Congress leader, removed the name of the grand-old-party from his official Twitter account on Monday. Instead, Scindia called himself “public servant and cricket enthusiast”. The move comes after the alleged secret meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the national capital. After removing the name of Congress from his Twitter profile, it is believed that Jyotiraditya Scindia will quit the grand-old-party and politics as well. Talking exclusively to News Nation, Jyotiraditya Scindia firmly denied quitting active politics.
“A month back I had changed my bio on Twitter. On people's advice I had made my bio shorter. Rumours regarding this are baseless,” Jyotiraditya Scindia told ANI on being asked about not mentioning of Congress party in his Twitter bio.
According to the sources, Jyotiraditya Scindia had met PM Modi in Delhi 2-3 days before. Earlier, on his twitter bio, Scindia has written “Former Member of Parliament, Guna (200-20019) | Former Minister for Power (I/C); MoS Commerce & Industry; MoS Communications, IT & Post”.

Scindia had backed PM Modi-led centre’s move on Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh and its full integration into a union of India. “I support the move on Jammu And Kashmir & Ladakh and its full integration into union of India. Would have been better if constitutional process had been followed. No questions could have been raised then. Nevertheless, this is in our country’s interest and I support this,” he tweeted.
