In a heart-wrenching incident, woman from Kanpur wrote a letter to President Ram Nath Kovind seeking permission to euthanise her 10 year-old son who is suffering from cancer.

The woman cites her financial status as the reason behind her request and the cost for the treatment goes beyond her abilities to save the child.

Seeing no end to her son's sufferings, this mother has demanded euthanasia for the 10-year-old.
