In fresh trouble for Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has begun investigating allegations of a medical scam levelled by sacked AAP minister Kapil Mishra against the party chief. The ACB has reportedly conducted searches at three places in Delhi following the allegations made by Kapil Mishra.

Mishra has alleged a Rs 300 crore fraud in the purchase of medicines by the Health Department and had complained to the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB), which reports to the Union Home Ministry.

The Delhi government had announced free medicines at all its hospitals and the allegations revolve around this decision.

Mishra had said that medicines worth crores were demanded but they never made their way to government pharmacies and are lying unused in stores. The police teams are reportedly searching some of these storage areas.
