Continuing its idea of ‘Parivartan Yatra’, BJP president Amit Shah on Thursday will kick start party’s election campaign in southern state of Karnataka.
More than one lakh party workers from Karnataka’s 28,000 booths are expected to reach state capital Bengaluru where Shah will address a rally, a BJP statement said.
With an aim of returning to power, the 79-day ‘Karnataka Parivartan Yatra’ will conclude with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally on January 28.

Party’s chief ministerial candidate BS Yeddyurappa will also attend Shah’s rally along with other top leaders of the state.
The ‘Karnataka Parivartan Yatra’ will pass through 224 assemblies of the state.
The Congress party is in power in the state and the BJP is making all-out efforts to oust it in the Assembly polls scheduled to be held early next year.
