Increasing its intervention in the Kashmir unrest issue, Pakistan yesterday observed as black day ‘to condemn the brutalities by Indian armed forces against innocent and unarmed civilians in IOK.’

Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs also held a special ceremony today to ‘express solidarity with the oppressed people of Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir.’

Addressing the ceremony, the Adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister both accused Indian armed forces of using inhuman and oppressive measures. They argued that Pakistan is a party to the Kashmir dispute in accordance with UN Security Council Resolutions and demanded that those resolutions be implemented by India.

India has strongly objected to Pakistan’s interference in India’s internal issue and has also raised this topic in United Nations.
