Mufti has also asked for the termination of arrested officers in the Kathua rape case under Section 126-C and Article 311.
The official order regarding their termination is expected to be issued on Saturday evening.
The appointed judge in the case will be hearing the case of the gangrape and murder of 8-year-old girl only, till its closure.
Police had started investigations back in January in the case, which had shaken the conscience of the nation. The charge sheet is completed and as many as eight people have been arrested in connection with the case so far.
