Several private and government organisations have been working over the past few days to rescue the marooned citizens of Kerala. Amid the havoc, a video footage of a flight driver rescuing a child from the roof of his house from the stranded village of Aluva is winning hearts. Over 3000 persons have been rescued so far by the armed forces since the start of the operation. More than 750 persons have been provided medical care by the armed forces. Salute to this courage and let’s hope that the disastrous situation soon escapes the ‘God’s own country’.
