A 26-year-old man, whose genitals was cut off allegedly by a woman last month, has been successfully re-fixed after a complex eight hours surgery at on Wednesday at a hospital in Kerala.
According to doctors of Aster Malabar Institute of Media Sciences (MIMS) in a statement said that the patient’s genitals were reconstructed by a complex surgery.
The hospital statement read that the an was admitted on September 21 with three-fourth of his genetical cut-off.

A team of surgeons led by Dr Krishankumar, senior consultant and head of plastic and reconstruction surgery department, had performed the surgery a week ago.
Dr KrishnaKumar said, “To replant an amputated penis, all complex structures in the organ have to be repaired.”
He added that the victim's veins, arteries, nerves, urethora and muscles attached to the organ were successfully repaired.

The 26-year-old man was admitted to the hospital after a 30-year-old man allegedly chopped his genitals after her attempted to marry another woman.
The police had taken 30-year-old woman into custody. Police said the man was reportedly in a relationship with the accused.
The woman then during interrogation had confessed to the crime and told the police that she had used a small knife to attack the man.
