A new video has been released by activist Rahul Eashwar in which Hadiya earlier known as Akhila Ashokan can be seen pleading to help her end her confinement.

Hadiya can be heard saying, “Get me out here. Today or tomorrow, I am going to die. I am sure about this. My father is getting angry, I can make out. He pushes me, stamps at me."

According to activist Eashwar the video was recorded in August. She has been living with her father after the Kerala High Court annulled her marriage to Shafin Jahan, 27 in May this year and ordered her to return to live with her parents in Kottayam. Policemen stand guard round-the-clock to make ensure she follows the court order.

Eashwar had met the woman and her family in August. He had earlier released a video excerpt of his conversation.

NDTV quoting Eashwar wrote, “I am a Hindu activist, I believe Hadiya's voice must also be heard."

He also told the news channel that he would be handing over the entire footage to the court.

The Kerala High Court had gave its verdict going with Hadiya’s father’s Ashokan KM’s claim that Shafin Jahan has links to terror-outfits and forcefully converted to Islam.
