Kulbhushan Jadhav case: How Indian politicians react on India’s big victory?

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) on Wednesday affirmed Indian national Kulbhushan Jadhav’s right to consular access. The court also directed Pakistan to provide effective review and reconsideration of his conviction and sentences. The court further said that Jadhav's execution should remain suspended until Pakistan effectively reviews and reconsiders the conviction/sentence. The court also recognised Pakistan's breach of the Vienna Convention.

The nation is in immense joy after the ICJ verdict fall in India’s favour and several political leaders from different parties shared their reaction on this historic victory.

Even, the former External Affairs Minister and senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj wrote series of tweets after the judgement and also thanked PM Narendra Modi. She also acknowledged and praised the contribution of Mr Harish Salve for presenting India’s case before ICJ.
