One of the founding members of Aam Aadmi Party, Kumar Vishwas has also shown his dissident towards the party. After the humiliating defeat in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls, AAP is facing internal rumblings. Vishwas, who was known to be one of the loyalists has been speaking directly or indirectly against the party.
On May 2, 2017 Vishwas addressed the press conference at his residence and expressed his displeasure over Okhla MLA Amanatullah Khan. After a week-long drama within the AAP, Vishwas said he was not running after any post or power and reaffirmed his faith in the party. As a part of his compromise with the Delhi Chief Minister, the party expelled Khan.
Earlier also, Vishwas raised his voice by releasing a 13-minute long video in which he indirectly criticised the AAP in the backdrop of the attack on CRPF Jawans in Kashmir as well as Pakistan's take on Kulbhushan Jadhav.

Who is Kumar Vishwas?
Born on February 10, 1970 at Pilkhuwa in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh in a Gaur Brahmin family, Kumar Vishwas is a renowned Hindi poet, Hindi Literature professor, activist and a senior leader of Aam Aadmi Party.
Vishwas’ father Dr. Chandra Pal Sharma wanted him to be an Engineer but he showed no interest and decided to pursue his childhood passion, i.e. poetry. He is a very renowned Hindi poet nationally as well as internationally. He has performed at several ‘Kavi sammelan’ in different countries. He is the highest paid Hindi poet in the country.
Vishwas has also written the 'Kul-Geet' (University Anthem) of Chaudhary Charan Singh University. As a YouTuber, he is one of the most popular Indians on the social networking site. His videos are viewed by thousands, mostly youths every day.
Besides being popular as the Hindi poet, Vishwas is an active social activist, who has always involved himself in various social activities. He has been into such activities from the past many years but came into limelight with the Anna Hazare movement of ‘India Against Corruption’.
Vishwas along with current Delhi Chief Minsiter Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia participated in the movement and took it to an another level. Thereafter, he along with these two formed the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and entered the world of politics.
