Rashtriya Janata Dal supremo Lalu Prasad on Friday said his son Tejashwi Yadav could be chief ministerial candidate in the next Bihar assembly election.

“He is way ahead of all of us in terms of leadership ability and oratory. I am not saying this merely because he is my son,” the RJD chief told.

RJD chief further said that the present times belong to youngsters and we should think about bringing youths forward in ticket distribution and other activities as well.               He added that only this way youths will be get encouragement.

However, Lalu also stated that the decision will be taken after taking everyone in loop and there is a lot of time left in the upcoming elections.

Earlier, state RJD President Ramchandra Purve had said that Tejashwi is very capable and energetic leader and hence he should be named leader of party in the upcoming 2020 assembly elections.

After that, party’s senior leader and former minister Abdul Bari Siddiqui had said that the decision will only be taken after consultating Lalu Yadav.
