After 13 days of fan fair and extravaganza, The 36th India International Trade Fair (IITF) is going to end on Sunday. Commencing on November 14th, this year’s annual trade show featured ‘Digital India’ as its theme. Heavy rush is expected on the last day, as Delhi Police has already issued a traffic advisory for the same.
Currency overhaul by the government seems to have widely affected this year’s trade fair, as exhibitors and traders were clearly upset over low sales volume due to the prevailing cash crunch.

President in the opening ceremony had observed that "digital technologies, e-commerce, e-enabled and mobile services are major components of e-governance and will over the time contribute significantly to GDP growth."
