With the Aam Aadmy Party (AAP) entering the fifth day of its sit-in protest, party leader Sanjay Singh on Friday accused Delhi L-G Anil Baijal and PM Narendra Modi of ignoring the issues, raised by his cabinet colleagues.

Going by Singh's allegations, the L-G wants the Delhiites to suffer as neither he nor the prime minister is "concerned" about the IAS officers' "strike" for the last four months.

Several APP ministers, including Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, sat on a dharna from Monday demanding an L-G act to end the month-long "strike" by IAS officers in Delhi. Their demand includes the implementation of the AAP government's ambitious plan to deliver ration at the doorstep.

"Delhi's people are facing so many problems and the L-G wants them to suffer," Singh said.

Health Minister Satyendar Jain is on an indefinite hunger-strike since Tuesday while Deputy CM Manish Sisodia joined him on Wednesday to press their demands.

Seeking an intervention of Prime Minister Modi, Kejriwal wrote a letter to him citing instances when government work suffered because of the alleged strike by IAS officers. The IAS officers' organisation, however, has denied such allegations.

Apart from Kejriwal, Sisodia and Jain, Delhi government minister Gopal Rai has been staying put at the waiting room of the L-G office for the last five days.
