With Assembly Elections 2018 knocking on the doors, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday arrived at Delhi BJP headquarters where he chaired the Central Election Committee (CEC) meeting to formulate last minute poll strategies in five crucial states. Besides Modi, BJP president Amit Shah, External Affairs Minister (EAM) Sushma Swaraj, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and other prominent leaders also took part in the CEC meeting.
Chhattisgarh will go to polls in two phases on November 12 and 20, while the Madhya Pradesh and Mizoram Assembly elections will take place simultaneously on November 28. Polling in Rajasthan and Telangana will be held on December 7. Counting of votes will be held across all the five states on December 11.
