Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Saturday address the nation post the historic Supreme Court judgment on Ayodhya land dispute. According to reports, PM Modi is expected to emphasise communal harmony and national unity in his address after the top court settled the fractious issue between Hindus and Muslims that goes back more than 134 years. 

Earlier on Friday, he appealed to people of the country to maintain peace and harmony after the Supreme Court verdict in the politically sensitive case of Ayodhya land dispute. The prime minister said, "Whatever be the decision of Supreme Court in Ayodhya case, it will not be a victory or defeat of anyone. I appeal to the people of the country that the decision should strengthen India’s tradition of peace, unity and goodwill."
