Samajwadi Party leader Shivpal Yadav visited his brother Mulayam Singh Yadav's Lucknow residence on Saturday to find ways to broker peace between the warring sections of the party.
Sources said party leader Azam Khan, Congress leader Ambika Chaudhary and Omprakash accompanied Shivpal to discuss the situation ahead of the crucial assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh.
The ongoing feud between the two SP factions escalated after chief minister Akhilesh Yadav unseated his father Mulayam as the party chief.
