The Bar Council of India (BCI) on Saturday during the Council meeting decided to form a seven-member delegation to meet the four judges of Supreme Court, who held press conference on Friday and levelled serious charges against Chief Justice of India (CJI) Deepak Misra.
"We have unanimously decided to form a 7-member delegation of the Council who will meet Hon. judges of the Supreme Court, : said BCI chairman Manan Kumar Mishra.
He added that the Bar Council wants that the matter be solved at the earliest.
The Bar Council has requested all political parties not to politicise the matter. "We've given an oppurtunity to Rahul Gandhi and other political parties to talk about our judiciary, it's unfortunate," added Mishra.
The Bar Council of India also thanked the Indian government for not intefering in the matter. Mishra said, "Prime Minister and law minister had said on Friday that it is judiciary's internal matter and government won't be interfering in the matter. We appreciate the government's stand."

Earlier in the day, Supreme Court Bar Association president Vikas Singh said, “They should have said something substantial during the press conference. The judges have created doubts in minds of people for the judiciary. They did not say anything about the justice.”
