Forensic experts on Wednesday night conducted the postmortem of the body of ex-serviceman Ram Kishan Grewal. The body was sent to Lady Hardinge Hospital early on Wednesday morning from RML Hospital where he had died after being rushed there on Tuesday.
He had allegedly consumed poison on the lawns of a government building in the heart of the national capital. "The postmortem began at around 9:30 PM and the report is currently with the hospital," a hospital source told PTI.
Earlier, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday demanded apology from Prime Minister Narendra Modi for allegedly lying to Armymen about One Rank One Pension scheme. Tweeting his dissent after being released from the RK Puram police station in New Delhi around midnight, Kejriwal accused PM Modi of false nationalism.
“Modiji lied that OROP has been implemented. Modiji should apologise to soldiers. Today Modiji’s false nationalism has been revealed,” Delhi CM tweeted from his handle @ArvindKejriwal.
