The Karnataka Assembly will go for a floor test on Thursday after the Supreme Court ruled that the 15 rebel MLAs cannot be forced to take part in Assembly proceedings. Meanwhile, Congress MLA Ramalinga Reddy Wednesday said he has decided to withdraw his resignation from the assembly and will vote in favour of the trust vote to be sought by Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy. In another development, the mediation panel is likely to submit "progress of mediation" in the land dispute case Ayodhya

11:12 pm: Fire broke out earlier today at ‘Takshashila Arcade’ in Sarthana where 22 students had died in a fire on its fourth floor on May 24; the fire broke out today during demolition of the floor. It was soon brought under control. No injuries reported.
