Today is the International Day of Yoga. PM Modi will lead the International Day of Yoga from Ranchi today with all arrangements being in place at the Prabhat Tara ground. The Triple Talaq Bill to be tabled in Lok Sabha today. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will pay homage to the 13 AN-32 personnel who were killed in the crash.

11:00 pm: Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal today inaugurated Ambubachi Mela in Kamakhya Temple. The temple will be closed tomorrow morning and will reopen on June 25. Ambubachi celebrates the menstruation of Goddess Kamakhya.

10:30 pm: The building of Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) is in dilapidated condition&the premises is also in unhygienic conditions along with lack of proper facilities.People say,"There is no medicine. Even fans & ACs are not working. We are buying our own medicines."

9:50 pm: Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited: One contract worker unfortunately succumbed possibly due to asphyxia and burn injury and another suffered minor burns. An inquiry has been constituted to ascertain the cause of fire.

9:35 pm: J&K Governor Satya Pal Malik chaired the Unified Headquarters meeting in Srinagar today to review the overall security situation in the State. The meeting comprised top brass of the army, police, paramilitary, state and central intelligence agencies.

7:15 pm: Bihar: Death toll due to Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES) rises to 124 in Muzaffarpur. 104 deaths at SKMCH and 20 deaths at Kejriwal hospital.

7:00 pm: Jammu and Kashmir: Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) seized heroin weighing 5 kg under the NDPS Act, 1985, near the Suchetgarh BOP (Border Observation post) in a joint operation with BSF yesterday. The drugs were smuggled from Pakistan.

6:30 pm: Revenue Secy: GST Council has approved several changes which were made during last few months. For example, GST registration limit threshold limit was raised from Rs 20 Lakh to Rs 40 Lakh. Earlier it was done through notification,now appropriate changes have been made in the laws. 

6:20 pm: Revenue Secretary Ajay Bhushan Pandey: The person who is applying can go online, using his Aadhaar number through OTP authentication he can register himself on the GSTN portal & get GSTN registration number.

6:15 pm: Revenue Secretary Ajay Bhushan Pandey: One of the major changes that we've made is for the ease of GST registration. In the earlier system, people had to give various documents. Now we have decided to use Aadhaar. By using Aadhaar several advantages will occur to the business.

5:00 pm: Delhi: Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) has intercepted 4 passengers who were scheduled to depart from New Delhi to Bangkok yesterday and recovered 1,52,000 Euros with market value equivalent to Rs.1,27,63,440. They have been arrested under provisions of Customs Act, 1962.
