PM in Shirdi: Narendra Modi hands over keys to beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Shirdi on Friday to attend the valedictory function of the Sai Baba Samadhi Centenary celebrations. He performed puja at the temple of the revered saint. Modi will unveil a plaque to mark the laying of foundation stone of various development works of Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust. He will also release a silver coin to commemorate the centenary year of Shri Saibaba Samadhi.

Modi will also hand over the keys of houses to some beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) in Shirdi, an official said. The prime minister will be present at the 'e-griha pravesh' ceremony for 40,000 beneficiaries of the affordable housing scheme of the government, the official added.
