MP farmers protest | Shivraj Singh Chouhan at fast: We will help our farmer brothers to earn better profits

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is presently conducting discussions with farmer's representatives at Dussehra Maidan in Bhopal.

The CM is conducting an indefinite fast since Saturday morning for 'peace' following farmers protests and death of farmers in Mandsaur due to police firing. Chouhan said that non-violence is Gandhiji's principle and he has decided to follow his footsteps

On Friday, he had held a press conference in Mandsaur where he said that he will fast at Dussehra Maidan on Saturday from 11 AM to bring peace. He also said that people may come to him to discuss their problems.

The CM said that his government is open to negotiating with the farmers on their demands. At the same time, he sent a strong message to miscreants saying they will be strictly dealt with.
