New Delhi:
The row over ban on the Tamil sport 'Jallikattu' has snowballed into a state-wide agitation with protesters thronging Chennai's Marina Beach in support of the age-old tradition.
The mounting anger on the streets has prompted the top brass of the state government to chalk out a strategy to persuade people to maintain calm.
Chief minister O Panneerselvam met Prime Minister Narendra Modi i9n Delhi and demanded an ordinance for the sport.
