Several political parties, including Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), began their protests in Delhi hours after reports about the suicide of former serviceman Ram Kishan Grewal came to light on Wednesday.
Delhi Police Special Commissioner MK Meena made an emphatic statement on Rahul Gandhi's detention, quoting "Democracy doesn't mean creating obstruction. Leaders must also understand that hospital is not the place to hold any demonstrations".
Congress Vice-President Rahu Gandhi was detained at Mandir Marg Police Station for 'disruption of duty' after he wasn't allowed to enter RML hospital to meet ex-serviceman's family, said Delhi Police Special Commissioner MK Meena.
