Ram Nath Kovind took oath as the 14th President of India at Central Hall of Parliament on Tuesday. Chief Justice of India Justice JS Khehar administered him oath of the highest office.

Vice President Hamid Ansari, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, CJI JS Khehar, Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan, cabinet ministers, members of Parliament and all chiefs of Indian army forces were present at Central hall.
Ram Nath Kovind, the NDA’s candidate was elected as the President of India on July 20. He defeated UPA’s candidate Meira Kumar by a huge margin to be elected as the President.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Jharkhand CM Raghubar Das, UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Telangana CM KCR Rao and others attended the swearing-in ceremony.
President-elect’s family had already left for the national capital Monday night by the Shram Shakti Express. Kovind’s elder brother Pyarelal, sister-in-law Vidyavati, cousins Deepak, Pankaj, Shivkumar, Hemlata and Kamlesh, and Alok, the elder brother’s son-in-law, were at the swearing-in ceremony.
