# UP CM Yogi Adityanath reaches Faizabad airport
The state government is also getting ready to make a new Guinness World Record by lighting record number of diyas on the banks of the Saryu River as a part of Diwali celebrations.
Prominent buildings and ghats have been illuminated to attract tourists. The objective of the entire programme is to promote Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Rama, as a tourist destination.
A grand “aarti†of River Saryu will also be performed by Chief Minister Adityanath and Governor Ram Naik followed by a laser show.
