Maa Siddhidatri is the ninth form of Goddess Durga and Hindu mythology believes that she helps her devotees to achieve absolute perfection.

She has four hands holding a conch shell, discus, trident and mace. Further, mounted on a lotus flower, she also rides a lion. 

Maa Siddhidatri is worshipped by devotees on the final auspicious day of Navratra. Kanya Poojan (worshipping of girls) is also done on this day where little girls are fed meals and offered homage.

The Goddess’s grace fulfils all wishes and desires of her worshippers. Moreover, she also ends unnecessary temptation and greed towards material comforts.

She is also believed to be the ultimate form of knowledge and removes all sorts of ignorance. Legend also claims that the planet Ketu is governed by Maa Siddhidatri.
