New Delhi:

Just two days after a grand wedding ceremony took place at Maada Village of Madhya Pradesh, the localites began to pay for their happiness in a rather different way.

The single well which supply water to around 500 Dalits of the area was poured by Kerosene.

According to Dalits this is a deliberate action done by some upper caste familiy of the village.

Flouting some of the direction of upper caste families Mr Meghwal has recently celebrated his daughter Mamta's marriage on April 23, 2017.

The groom family has been seen coming with a procession having a large number of people and was also accompanied by a band party to entertain on the day.

But according to the natives this kind of grandeur can be celebrated only by the high class people of the village and taking part in such a occasion is a crime like act for Dalits.

Though the marriage has taken place with full approval of CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan, it has been assuming that pouring kerosene in the well high class society is now expressing their anger and annoyance over the matter.

Mr Meghwal has even been threatened further to be prohibited to draw water from well and enter the local temple.

As a result of this shameful act done by the 'so-called' high class society Dalit women of the village are now fetching water from a river 2 Km away.

The issue was "not such a big issue" since the various communities in the village "live in amity". "Obviously someone has done this deliberately. It will eventually come out who was responsible", Durvijay Singh, a senior official was quoted while being asked on the matter.

Though the localites was promised to get two handpumps in the area, it is not going to take place over night.
