A poster was seen on Wednesday in Patna which read congratulatory message for Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for supporting NDA’s presidential nominee Ram Nath Kovind.

With this, the divide between JD(U), RJD and Congress became more prominent.

There has also been talks about possible disintegration of alliance between Congress, RJD and JD(U). The speculations got more life with the statements of KC Tyagi who is considered very close to Nitish Kumar.

KC Tyagi said that JD(U) was more comfortable under in NDA under Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He added that the manner in which Nitish Kumar was being attacked after supporting NDA presidential nominee has left JD(U) workers disappointed.

With an indirect jibe at RJD, KC Tyagi said that the party will continue to support NDA’s decision in national interest.

The rift between RJD and JD(U) became more clear with the statement of RJD MLA and Lalu Yadav’s brother Virendra against Nitish Kumar.

Virendra had said that Nitish has cheated everyone.

JD(U) had demanded action against Virendra for making such statement but Lalu Yadav had not given heed to it.

Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav had also referred CM Nitish Kumar as an ostrich in his Facebook post. After this statement, there has been acrimony between both JD(U) and RJD.

RJD supremo Lalu Yadav had also cautioned Nitish against making a historical mistake by supporting NDA presidential nominee Ram Nath Kovind. Niitsh had responded by saying that Bihar’s daughter Meira Kumar has been roped in to see defeat in presidential poll.
