Metro trains collide during trial run, officials trying to cover up the lapse

As the trains were empty and on the trail run, no casualties have been reported so far. DMRC officials have been trying to cover up the issue as the major lapses were also reported earlier also.

Major accident averted; Delhi metro train collided during trial run

A major metro train accident was averted on Friday night, as two trains collided at the Kalandi Kunj station during a trial run on the Janakpuri-Botanical Garden. 

As the trains were empty and on the trail run, no casualties have been reported so far. DMRC officials have been trying to cover up the issue as the major lapses were also reported earlier also. Recently, metro started running with door open in Jahangirpuri -Huda city Centre route. 

According to a Delhi Metro sources, one of the trains was signalled to stop at the falling mark, but it failed to abide by the order and moved while the other metro was also coming on the same route.
