Major reshuffle in WB police in Inspector rank

In a major reshuffle in West Bengal police, over 200 officials in the inspector rank were today transferred to various places in the state.

Home department sources said, a total of 236 police officers in the rank of Inspector were thus shifted..

Such a big transfer assumed importance in the wake of Assembly elections slated to be held this year.
