The Karnataka High Court today adjourned till April 11 the hearing of a two-and-a-half-year-old winding up petition against United Breweries Holdings Limited, the company controlled by beleaguered Vijay Mallya.
The petition seeks unpaid dues of Rs 146 crore from the defunct Kingfisher Airlines promoted by UBHL.
The creditors including BNP Paribas and State Bank of India are seeking winding up of UBHL to get back their dues.
As the court proceedings began, BNP Paribas counsel pleaded before Justice Arvind Kumar to hear the matter on a priority basis.
Other petitioners including aircraft lessors and aircraft engine makers such as Rolls Royce and IAE, had filed the petition in 2012, which was admitted in November 2013.
