The Bengal police produced Tushar before the court of Ambassa's Chief Judicial Magistrate and sought his transit remand. The CJM, however, dismissed the request as Tushar was sick and ordered for his admission in a hospital.

The West Bengal Police team is planning to appeal for Tushar's transit remand on Wednesday when he is produced before the court again.
