A beggar was killed as a dangerous three stoey-building collapsed in Maharashtra's Bhiwandi in the wee hours of Friday.
In a tragic incident, the 'Samata' building, situated in Nizampura locality, which had been declared dangerous and vacated earlier, collapsed at around 1.30 AM, police said.
Mohammad Momin (53), who was sleeping on a road adjacent to the building, was buried in the debris as the structure collapsed, Thane city police control room said.
Police and local civic body personnel rushed to the site after the incident.
