Manipur police arrests UNLF militant during search operation in Thoubal district

A militant of proscribed United National Liberation Front (UNLF) has been arrested during a search operation conducted by a combined team of Manipur police and Assam Rifles in Manipur’s Thoubal district.

The girl was arrested after the teams conducted a search operation at Heirok Ngarouthel Leikai, according to a press release issued by PRO, Manipur police.

A case has been registered in this regard and investigation is on, the release added.
