MCD polls: Arvind Kejriwal releases AAP's manifesto in Delhi; announces to make city Dengue-free

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday released Aam Aadmi Party's manifesto for Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls. 

The AAP is making debut in city's civic polls. Currently, Bhartiya Janata Party is in power.

Major points from the Arving Kejriwal's manifesto release include:

# Will increase the personnels to drive cleanliness in the city.

# Municipal corporation will become corruption free.

# Delhi will become free of Dengue, Chikungunya in next three years.

# Drainages will be cleaned to avoid water-logging during rains.

# Landfills will be wiped out from Delhi by 2019.

# People in Delhi will be exempted from residential house tax.

# Mafias will be wiped out from parking

# The certificates of municipal corporation will be given online.

# Sweepers will be given modern equipments to drive effective cleanliness in the city.

# The job of sweepers will be made permanent.

# Industrial and commercial mutation will be scrapped.

# The standard of Delhi municipal corporations Schools will be upgraded. Nursery and KG classes will be introduced.

# Teachers will be recruited and they will also be trained.

# The municipal corporation hospitals will be revamped. 

# Tenants will be allowed to avail the scheme of free electricity and water.

# Delhi will be made free of street dogs and monkeys

# The standard of parks in the city will be improved.

# Factory license will be banned in industrial areas.
