One militant was killed in an encounter with security forces in Haritar Tarzoo area in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir early on Tuesday.

According to reports from news agency ANI, two terrorists were believed to be hiding in the area.

The Tuesday encounter is the second such incident in less than a week.
