Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Tuesday has summoned the Pakistan Deputy High Commissioner in connection to death of three minors by Pakistan forces in unprovoked firing at Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.
According to reports, the Ministry of External Affairs lodged a strong protest with the Pakistan over the unprovoked firing by Pakistan forces on October 2.
The MEA in a statement also conveyed Pakistan that such deliberate targeting of civilians was not acceptable and was against humanitarian norms and practices.
The Ministry also showed strong concern over continued unprovoked firing by Pakistan security forces across LoC and international boundary in violation of 2003 Ceasefire Understanding.

Sources said, MEA has asked Pakistan to investigate the incident and bring to justice the individuals and entities responsible for orchestrating the heinous attack which led to killing of three minors in the LoC.
On October 2 ceasefire violation three civilians (all minors) were killed and 8 persons had suffered serious injuries in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch.
