Even if it is unclear as of now when exactly the cabinet reshuffle will take place, factors like shradh and pitru paksha might heavily influence the final date as both are considered to be inauspicious and this 15-lunar day period would last between September 6 to 19.
Union finance minister Arun Jaitley on Thursday also hinted at the same, saying that he is not going to hold dual charge of finance and defence for very long.
It is said that a reshuffle would take place ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s China visit for BRICS Summit. Modi will be in China between September 3 and 5 following which he will visit Myanmar before returning to India.
