Ayodhya Verdict: Ram Lalla Gets Site, Muslims Promised Land- Ram Mandir Judgment Explained

The Supreme Court in a unanimous verdict on Saturday granted the entire 2.77 acre of disputed land in Ayodhya to deity Ram Lalla in a set of four directions. The 5-judge Constitution bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi also directed the Centre and the Uttar Pradesh government to allot a 5-acre land to Muslims at a "prominent" place in Ayodhya for building a mosque. Cyclone 'Bulbul' Makes Landfall, 2 Deaths Reported As Heavy Rains Lash West Bengal, Odisha

'Bulbul' made landfall on Saturday midnight between Sagar Islands of West Bengal and Khepupara in Bangladesh. It is hurtling northeastwards into the neighbouring country over the Sunderban delta, with two deaths reported in its wake. According to India Meteorological Dept (IMD), the severe cyclonic storm Bulbul weakened into a cyclonic storm and lay centered over Bangladesh adjoining coastal West Bengal at 0530 hours on Sunday.
