Morphed photographs of over 50 college girls circulated on social media in Mathura

Morphed obscene pictures of about 50 girls mostly from Mathura were circulated on social media causing extreme distress to the victims and their families.

According to the primary investigation, the girl’s photographs have been superimposed on nude and semi-nude pictures and circulated on WhatsApp with their names, addresses, depicting them as call girls.

Earlier, similar incident had happened in Nov 2015 also. Kanak Dhara Foundation, an NGO working for women assured of informing the matter to PMO and Chief Minister’s office. A case has been registered under relevant sections against the unknown perpetrators.  Cyber cell is investigating the matter.
