The Shivraj Singh Chouhan Cabinet in Madhya Pradesh on Monday gave a go ahead to the 7th Pay Commission. The Madhya Pradesh government's decision will benefit as many as 6.5 lakh employees. However, the government will have to bear the burden of around Rs 4,000 crore.

The 7th Pay Commission was approved at a cabinet meeting held in Bhopal on Monday. There will be a 14 per cent increase in the salary of employees.
