Maharashtra Navnirmaan Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray on Thursday threatened the government, saying if the latter does not bring change in the system, his party’s next rally “would not be peaceful.â€
While addressing the party workers, Thackeray said, “They have organised this rally peacefully. But, if there is no change in the system of government then our next rally will not be peaceful.â€
Thackeray said the central government is wasting its time with non-serious issues like Demonetisation, GST and Yoga. He said if the core issues will not be addressed soon, his party would not remain peaceful.
MNS staged a protest over Elphinstone Road stampede near Metro cinema area after the Mumbai Police denied permission to the party for the protest to Western Railways Headquarters in Churchgate.Â
