New Delhi:
Two bike-borne youths died on Sunday night after a vehicle hit their bike at Vikhroli Eastern Express Highway in Mumbai. The culprits fled from the spot. The police have registered a case under sections of culpable homicide and negligent driving. The youth have been identified as Chetan Konkane and Sushant Sawant.
Last week, in a similar inicdent, two persons were killed and another injured when their car was hit by a gas tanker on the Mumbai-Agra National Highway here, police said.
The mishap occurred when the victims were heading to Malegoan in the district, an official attached to Panchavati police station said.

One of the deceased was identified as PushpadeviJagarani(40). The identity of the other deceased was yet to beascertained, the official said.
